● This medium and large car is a bit "grumpy"

　　When Han EV made its debut, we had made a detailed static interpretation and space experience (portal) for the new car, and we also conducted a performance test (portal) for the high-performance version of Han EV four-wheel drive. This test drive, we come straight to the point and directly bring you some contents of road test drive that you care about. I believe it can satisfy your curiosity.

　　During the test drive, we mainly experienced the long-life version (predecessor), so let’s talk about the power feeling of this model first. The official said that the car’s 0-100km/h acceleration time is 7.9s From the point of view of pure electric vehicles, this acceleration result should only be average, especially for pure electric vehicles with the price range of 200,000-300,000 yuan. Han EV can’t do it faster, because it also has a four-wheel drive high-performance version, but in order to compromise the cruising range, the ultra-long endurance version can only sacrifice certain acceleration performance.

　　In addition to the long battery life version, we also specially felt the high-performance version of the Han EV four-wheel drive model. The official said that the acceleration time of the car at 0-100km/h was 3.9s, but we had previously measured that its acceleration time at 0-100km/h was only 3.83s s. For high-performance models, the speed-up performance in ECO mode is of course sufficient, even at high speed. In SPORT mode, the power reserve of the car is even a little surplus, so it is enough to play fresh once in a while, otherwise the family and boss sitting in the back row may be shocked.

　　As a medium-sized and large-sized car, although Han EV runs very grumpy, it still does not give up comfort and luxury. The NVH performance of the new car is excellent. On the asphalt pavement, even if the speed of Han EV reaches 100km/h, the quietness inside the car is very satisfactory. On some rough roads, 90% of the noise in the car comes from tire noise, but this is within the acceptable range. It is worth mentioning that, in order to improve the interior quietness, the front side window of the new car adopts double-layer sound insulation glass, and it would be better if the rear row can also use double-layer glass.

　　In terms of brake foot feeling, the initial braking force is slightly stiff when the vehicle is decelerating at low speed, but this situation will not appear in the deceleration at high speed. On the whole, the braking force output is relatively linear, and the adjustment of brake pedal comfort will improve the situation of "the initial braking force is slightly stiff".

　　Han EV provides standard and large two-stage adjustment of kinetic energy recovery. If the kinetic energy recovery is adjusted through the central control panel, the user needs to carry out three-step operation, which is cumbersome, but fortunately, the car is equipped with an adjustment lever behind the gear handle. When the kinetic energy recovery is in the standard mode, the deceleration of the vehicle is very small after releasing the accelerator pedal, and the users who transition from fuel vehicles to pure electric vehicles are well adapted; When the kinetic energy recovery level is relatively high, the drag feeling will appear about one second after the driver releases the accelerator pedal. I think this second may be for smoothness. Indeed, with this transition time and the gradual braking force, the vehicle kinetic energy recovery process is smooth and natural.

　　The power battery of many pure electric vehicles will be lower than other parts of the chassis. After all, the size of the power battery is not small, but the performance of the interior space must be taken into account. However, the chassis flatness of Han EV is very good, and its battery pack capacity has reached 76.9kWh. 　　When the vehicle accelerates, the front suspension will be a little unable to pull the body. The official reply said that this is because the body length of the Han EV is long, and the four-wheel drive high-performance model has specially calibrated the rear axle load, so this situation has been alleviated. However, due to the different driving forms, if the predecessor model is also calibrated, the vehicle power will be limited.

　　For the suspension adjustment of Han EV, it may be different from some friends’ expectations. I thought that the front section of the Han EV suspension would filter out the bumps and bumps, creating a feeling of "comfortable medium-sized and large cars" for passengers. Only after driving this car did I understand that it actually has a "young and athletic heart", and the clear road feeling and toughness should be the adjectives of this suspension. 　　As for the steering feel, the performance of Han EV is satisfactory, and the steering strength in ECO and SPORT driving modes is different, but even in SPORT mode, the steering strength is a relaxed style. 　　In the driving part, the comprehensive quality of Han EV is really good, which is worthy of the price of 200,000-300,000 yuan. ● Take a rigorous look at the endurance performance of Han EV.

　　The test drive is from Lijiang City to Shangri-La City. We have not tested the actual endurance performance of Han EV before. We are very curious about how far it can run. I believe you must be very curious in front of the screen. Taking advantage of this test drive, it is better to record the endurance performance of Han EV by the way. The endurance performance presented in this paper is not rigorous, because we can’t control the average speed, recharge and other factors, but after all, the actual mileage is far more than 100km, so it still has a certain degree of reference significance.

　　Before the official departure, BYD staff had fully charged the vehicle. At this time, the battery capacity was 100% and the cruising range was 605km, which was consistent with the cruising range of the new car NEDC. Similar to the usual endurance test, we also adjust the vehicle driving mode to ECO, and adjust the kinetic energy recovery level to the highest. At the same time, we set the air conditioner to 23℃ and adjust the air volume to automatic.

　　Let’s go through the urban section first. At this time, the intervention of kinetic energy recovery can really reduce the driver’s fatigue. By the way, under a large level of kinetic energy recovery, when the speed is within 120km/h, the maximum power of kinetic energy recovery can reach -66kW, which is still quite strong.

　　The average altitude of Shangri-La at the end of this test drive is more than 1000 meters higher than that of Lijiang at the starting point. After the first change of hands, the altitude began to rise, but at this time, the power reserve of Han EV in ECO mode is still sufficient. For the sake of safety, we occasionally switch to SPORT mode to overtake. At this time, the speed-up performance of the vehicle has been greatly improved, and the value of the corresponding power output table has also soared.

　　When we reached the second switching point, we drove another 73.3km, and the cruising range of this section was reduced by 114km. The reason why the apparent cruising range of this section of the journey consumes a lot is that I think it has something to do with the elevation increase and the overtaking in SPORT mode just mentioned. Finally, the endurance performance of Han EV depends on the last section of the road.

　　The first feeling after entering Shangri-La is tranquility, so I’m afraid you can’t find a leisurely road in Beijing. On the highway with good road conditions, the excellent NVH performance of Han EV is also highlighted. The outside is quiet and the car is quiet. With the soft and spacious seats of Shang EV, it is simply beautiful.

　　When we reached the finish line, our actual mileage was 179km, but the remaining cruising range was reduced from 605km to 420km, which consumed 185km. The average speed of vehicles in this trip was 42.3 km/h. If calculated by vehicle mileage and apparent consumption mileage, the ratio of the two is 1:1.03.

　　As the flagship product of the brand, Han EV really didn’t let us down. The comprehensive quality of the car is not only excellent to drive, but also its endurance performance is worth looking forward to. Again, this endurance record is for reference.
