Tank 300 carries a car for a month. Let’s talk about the feeling of using a car and two shortcomings that I find hard to accept.

Except for some special models, Tank 300 is generally divided into urban version and off-road version. I believe that most friends who can buy this car will choose the off-road version. After all, it is a hard-core off-road vehicle, while the urban version is equipped with a timely four-wheel drive system, without front axle differential lock and rear axle differential lock, and the off-road capability is greatly reduced. The tank 300 was not an independent brand when it was first launched. Later, Great Wall Motor divided the tank 300 separately, established a tank brand, and changed the new car logo, and then launched the tank 500. I think it is necessary to do this, which can make the positioning of brands and products more accurate and enhance the recognition.

This year, there is a policy of halving the purchase tax. All models of Tank 300 can enjoy the "big red envelope" of halving the purchase tax. I bought this car this year. No accident, I chose the off-road version. It is equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 227 HP and a maximum torque of 387 Nm. The transmission system is 8AT gearbox, and it is equipped with part-time 4wd system and front and rear differential locks. The approach angle is 33 degrees, the departure angle is 34 degrees, and the minimum ground clearance is 224 mm. The off-road ability and passing ability are still good. In addition, the car is built on the vertical platform of the tank, and adopts a non-loaded car body structure. The chassis suspension is the front double wishbone independent suspension and the rear multi-link independent suspension. The car built on the vertical platform is more conducive to the uniformity of the car body counterweight, and its center of gravity is not concentrated on the front of the car, which can bring better driving experience.

Although the tank 300 is "big", in fact, it is a compact SUV. Its length, width and height are 4760 mm, 1930 mm and 1903 mm respectively, and its wheelbase is 2750 mm. The body design is characterized by being wide and high, and the posture when sitting in the car will be very high. Now, it’s been a month since I mentioned Tank 300, so let’s talk about my car experience and two shortcomings that I can’t accept. At first, I didn’t think its 2.0T+8AT powertrain would have enough power output, but what I didn’t expect was that it was "meaty" to drive, especially when starting and overtaking. It wasn’t that its 2.0T engine was not strong, but that the curb weight of this car had exceeded 2.1t, and the book data of 227 HP /387 Nm was really "stretched".

There is another point that makes me feel bad, that is, its fuel consumption is very high. When I just bought it, the average fuel consumption was 16.0L/100km. Now I have been driving it for a month, and the average fuel consumption has dropped to 14.6L/100km. I think if I drive it again, there will not be much room for its fuel consumption to drop. Among the riders, we have discussed the fuel consumption, and many car owners generally have a fuel consumption of 14 L/. On the whole, I can’t accept two reasons: weak power and high fuel consumption. On one hand, in other respects, this car is still very good.

Its interior materials and workmanship can live up to its price, and it still looks very high-grade. The stout three-spoke steering wheel, unique electronic gear lever, 12.3-inch LCD instrument panel, 12.3-inch central control screen, barrel air conditioner air outlet, etc. are both personalized and scientific. There are two knobs in front of its lever. On the left, you can switch between standard/comfortable, off-road and snow. On the right, you can switch between 2H (high-speed two-wheel drive), 4H (high-speed four-wheel drive) and 4L (low-speed four-wheel drive), which is different from the city version. If it is not enough, its interior color matching is rather dull. I think it is possible to introduce more abundant interior color matching in the later stage. Another point is that the car does not provide panoramic skylights and detachable skylights, which affects the lighting rate inside the car.

Its space is still very spacious, and the uplift of the back platform is not high. It is also equipped with backrest adjustment function, but the cushion is somewhat narrow, and the support for thighs is not very in place. Because its body is very high, getting on and off is not very convenient, so I installed the side pedal of the car, and with the handle on the B-pillar, getting on and off is not very troublesome. The trunk of the car is opened from one side instead of lifting up, which is necessary under a high body posture.

Generally speaking, Tank 300 is a good car. Except for weak power and high fuel consumption, there is basically nothing to "spit" in other places. Finally, what do you think of Tank 300?
