A few days ago, the high-profile 90th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China’s giant film has been confirmed to be released nationwide in June. In the exposed trailer, a large number of star actors have been gathered, and the lineup is strong. In the film, Deng Chao plays Chen Yi, a young man of the "Ten Marshals", and performs the highlight of boarding a ship with everyone at the dock. Deng Chao plays Chen Yi in a youthful and heroic style.

Deng Chao’s participation in the filming of "The Founding of the Party" was mainly for a scene where Chen Yi and Mao Zedong were supposed to go to study in France together, but Mao Zedong temporarily left behind a scene. During the shooting that day, the crew not only used special effects background to shoot, but also had the effect of nearly 100 people in the real scene. Chen Yi, played by Deng Chao, arrived late and joined the crowd. Because Chen Yi is from Sichuan, Deng Chao said that he must speak his lines in a Sichuan accent, "This is not only serious about the performance, but also respect for the leader." Out of his understanding of the entire opponent’s play, Deng Chao also improvised a line on the spot, "Wouldn’t the boat ticket be invalid?", which was praised by the director for being responsive and good at understanding the story of the camera reasonably.

From "The Founding of the Party", Deng Chao starred in Xu Beihong and Chen Yi. Although he made a brief appearance in the epic tribute with the participation of hundreds of stars, Deng Chao, who was serious about the performance, had complete preparations in terms of style and character characteristics. This shooting even bought "The Biography of Chen Yi" to read, which shows his responsibility for the performance work.
